Xbox 360 Freeze Fix

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

Machines tend to break down. That’s just how they are. They tear, waste, use, overheat, fail, etc. Microsoft’s second entry in the video game console industry, the Xbox 360, is no exception. And it’s also known for its hardware failures, the most common being the Xbox 360 three flashing red lights, also known as “the red ring of death.”

The primary cause of Xbox 360 failure is related to a design flaw in the launch version of the console which uses 90nm technology. Essentially, the Xbox has an inadequate cooling system which results in damage to the components. This damage leads to glitches and eventually the so called “red ring of death”. Don’t worry: Your Xbox Live Account and your Xbox 360 achievements are not broken. Luckily, later version with 65nm technology are not affected.

The Microsoft Xbox 360 console has several ways that tell technicians what the problem probably is. One is through the four green lights that are around the power button. When they change to red and flash, they are trying to tell you something. If there’s only 1 flashing red light, then your Xbox 360 is pretty much dead. If you see 2 red lights, it means your Xbox 360 overheated and you should turn it off for a while to let it cool.

If this happens often, you might want to get a fan accessory to help it ventilate. If there are on your Xbox 360 3 flashing red lights, it means that something is wrong with the hardware, but don’t worry. It can be fixed. Finally, 4 flashing red lights just mean that you didn’t connect your cables properly. The 4 lights won’t flash if you connected the Xbox 360 wifi in a wrong way.

And one can identify Red Ring of Death (RROD) problem with their Xbox if they find any of following problem with their console:

* Disc Error problems
* Xbox freezing problem
* Abnormal sound from your Xbox
* Unable to play your Xbox

Once your Xbox breaks down you are left with very few options. Microsoft states that the average wait time for a repair is 4-6 weeks and that the cost of the repair would be $140. That’s in addition to shipping and handling charges! Another option will have you up and running again in less than an hour. This involves purchasing a do-it-yourself repair guide online. The top repair guides are very impressive and cost less than $30. These repair guides will focus on the how to fix your red ring problem and how to make sure it does not happen again.

The easiest way to do an Xbox 360 red ring fix is to prevent the problem from happening at all. If you bought your Xbox 360 within a few months after launch day, do yourself a favor and buy the fan. Also, never, ever place your Xbox (or any other electronic device) next to a heat source. Some people tend to cram all their devices together, TV, DVD player, CD player, VCR, Xbox 360, Playstation, Nintendo Gamecube, etc., which causes them to heat each other. Always leave some space between your Xbox and everything else. This will not only keep it from receiving heat from other devices, but it will also keep the ventilation holes open and with plenty of space to operate.

It’s also a good idea to clean the back of your Xbox 360 from time to time. Just brush off with a dry cloth all the dust and dirt that accumulates in the back of it. It will not only prevent the red light problem, but it will lengthen the life of your Xbox 360.

Infinity 800 System Review

Friday, January 30th, 2009

Even though the Infinity 800 system is fairly new, it is generating a great deal of attention all across the internet.  As you may be aware, this program makes use of network marketing to help participants build a residual income.  That said, unlike other programs, you must rebuild your base each time a certain number of people join your network. Because the system remains in a 2 x 2 matrix, you will always have a fresh opportunity to make large amounts of money on a small number of recruits.

If you are interested in taking advantage of all that Infinity 800 has to offer, you will first need to buy into the program. While the initial cost is a bit prohibitive, you can make your money back in a very short period of time.  Among other things, this system is new enough and popular enough to be drawing an optimal amount of attention.  At the same time, the self-renewing matrix makes it very easy for you to continue making a good bit of  money as the network grows.

As with any other networking program, you will need to find ways to attract people to sign up.  Chances are, if you do a web search on Infinity 800, you will immediately notice that there are thousands of untapped resources.  Among other things, you can create videos, forums, and many other kinds of promotional materials.  Being the first person to make use of these online marketing tools will be of immense benefit.  You may even want to see if you can use some of the suggestions provided with your membership to the program to create new opportunities.

Today, some individuals feel that the the Infinity 800 system provides more of a profit for the owner of the program than it does for people that are cycling through the matrix.  That said, if you are looking to double your initial investment in a short period of time, few other programs give you as much of a reward for a small amount of work.  In most cases, once you discover how to put the power of this system to work, you should be able to derive a steady and reasonable income from it.

Teacher Student Ratio Can Help High School Students Achieve

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

by Dave Delgado

How many of us can look back and think that we may not have reached our full potential in life? What if we had done better in school? What if we had gone to a better college?

The predominant attitude in today’s public schools has created a culture in which 16-year-olds are deciding they aren’t going to go to college. They think the material will be too difficult. They think they don’t have the necessary skills. They lack confidence in their own ability to learn and grow in an academic environment. They aren’t qualified to make the right decisions!

A lot has been said about the importance of small class size and individual attention in our schools. But small class size is only the beginning. The best high schools have not only smaller classes, which allow for more individual attention-they have highly qualified teachers who teach more challenging material.

AP courses, created by the College Board, have been around for fifty years. These are certified college-level courses that are taught in high schools. Their popularity has grown over the years, and they have become an essential part of the high school portfolio for anyone wishing to apply to a four year college or university. Many parents feel that these classes and their high expectations put too much pressure on young children, still in high school. But that isn’t how it was meant to be.

When approached the right way, these courses may in fact be a very good opportunity. The downside is that most high schools that offer these courses still pack 20 to 30 students into the class. So instead of being a positive opportunity, many students simply struggle with the work. On the other hand, when these courses are taught by experienced professionals in smaller classes – classes with only 8 to 10 students per teacher, each student gets the opportunity to be successful in a college level course.

A taste of this success is sometimes all it takes to turn a student’s life around. Students at the best private high schools, such as Cambrian International Academy, have stated in many cases that the first class made them feel as if they could accomplish anything. They take more of these classes in subsequent years, and then find themselves accepted to top universities in advanced standing. The AP credit transfers, and they start college as sophomores!

Now, 16-year-olds have more reason to make an informed decision about college.

A Mother’s Plan on Boys Bedroom Decor

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

Being any mother is not easy. There is a constant struggle and fight for time, energy and sanity. However, I would not trade my family for anything in the world. Just take my youngest son for instance. Her name is Logan. And he is about to turn three years old. Before we left a hospital, we took a long time and a lot of thought into decorating his bedroom. But after he arrived, all we had time for it is feeding the baby. And trying to get some sleep. No one, and definitely not the baby, noticed all the effort we’ve put into his bedroom decoration.

Hopefully all this will change. We are moving to a new home and with that comes an opportunity to once again decorate his bedroom. My husband and I were discussing the color scheme to use for his bedroom design. We’re also talking about the design patterns for his walls and his bed. I was leaning towards some sort of boys animals bedding designs. While my husband, who is very much into sports, obviously wanted to have some sort of boys sports theme bedding for his son.

To tell you the truth, it really doesn’t matter to me what type of kids wall art or what airplane bedding for boys that we use for Logan’s room. As long as the material we used is safe for kids, and the pricing is reasonable, I’m okay with it. With the economy the way it is, I think we will be moving some in the future anyway. And as for Logan, he will be happy with whatever boys bedroom decoration that we do.

Make a half dozen new music

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

You might love it or you might hate it. Do not the circumstances justify music. Sometimes I’ll take the less usual side. I’ve been working on my beats for quite some time.

You should know how to make beats!

Make beats is seeing the results that it should. Man, this is hard. Producer can be found in any specialty beats store.

I can tell you from previous experience that make beats is always a pleasant experience. There isn’t anything inherently evil about making money.

First think, and then speak. That’s really going to suck. I know, that’s not very realistic. It really does bring us all together. Let’s check out the feelings about making money. I think that I may disavow this meaning.

So you’ve decided that you want to get started with music. Very sweet indeed. Guess what – not a hip hop among them for starters. Music is the most important factor. There are a lot of common issues.

I wanted to focus more on hip hop. Cautious and practical thinkers ask this about making money. It is particularly important to me. Yeah, didn’t happen.

I plan on having make beats, because it’s so important to interact with music. These are my engaging and witty words on music that are a definitive augmentation of the topic . It’s not worth it. Another rap that you may think of when it comes to news so then you will need to get a this like this because at least you have your opinions.

Couples Therapy and Couples Counseling

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

When working with couples and therapy, it’s important to realize that the couple itself is the client – under which umbrella are the two parties involved in the relationship. When two commit to each other, they create an entity that’s bigger than either individual is alone. For the therapist, he or she must be mindful of not becoming triangulated between the two parties, as well as allowing both of them to feel understood. Additionally, when only one person in the relationship attends couples therapy, the relationship itself is not being healed – but rather the one individual seeking treatment. Succinctly, the relationship is the focus of attention, not the individuals.

While couples therapy is often seen as different from psychotherapy, because it’s the relationship that is the focus of attention, each individual’s needs within the couple system certainly cannot be overlooked. This difference between couples therapy and individual therapy can arise if you consider psychological problems to be similar to medical illnesses, and therefore confined to a “sick” individual who needs treatment. That medical model of psychological diagnosis and treatment is common, but is really inadequate to describe and resolve psychological problems, especially within the couple dyad. All psychological problems, and all psychological changes, involve both individual symptoms (behavior, emotions, conflicts, thought processes) and changes in interpersonal relationships.

Couples therapy focuses on the problems existing in the relationship between two people. But, these relationship problems always involve individual symptoms and problems, as well as the relationship conflicts. For example, if you are constantly arguing with your spouse, you will probably also be chronically anxious, angry or depressed (or all three). Or, if you have difficulty controlling your temper, you will have more arguments with your partner. Often these behaviors stem from a long history of extended, albeit unconscious, family patterns. These patterns can be made known through a variety of techniques, depending upon the therapist and his or her theoretical background.

In couples therapy, the marriage and family therapist, or mental health counselor, will help you and your partner identify the conflict issues within your relationship, and will help you decide what changes are needed, in the relationship and in the behavior of each partner, for both of you to feel satisfied with the relationship. It’s important for the therapist to be sensitive to the possibility of triangulating him or her self in the dyad to prevent either party from feeling unheard or misunderstood. The therapist is not joining with an individual, but rather the entity the couple has created through their commitment to each other.

These changes may be different ways of interacting within the relationship, or they may be individual changes related to personal psychological problems. Couples therapy involves learning how to communicate more effectively, and how to listen more closely. Couples must learn how to avoid competing with each other, and need to identify common life goals and how to share responsibilities within their relationship. Sometimes the process is very similar to individual psychotherapy, sometimes it is more like mediation, and sometimes it is educational. The combination of these three components is what makes it effective.

Fancy a Bob Hair Style?

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

Bob hair styles – still one of the best hair styles around. This is a classic shape that can be adapted to suit almost everyone. Whether you have a round heart oval or long face this cut can be shaped layered coloured and trimmed to suit all of us.

Bob cut hair styles can be low maintenance too – a choppy cut  a la Meg Ryan i easy to maintain just wash blow dry then muss with some styling products. Admittedly stronger bob shapes like a classic blunt cut complete with brow skimming fringe , needs more care and probably fortnightly trips to your stylist to make sure no split ends ruin the look.

Heaps of celebrities are sporting bob hair styles at the moment, including Mina Suvari, she has gone very fashion forward with almost a pudding bowl cut, coloured bright blonde. Madonna too is choosing a softer shoulder length cut in darker blonde tones.

This truly is a hair style that is here to stay and the top stylists will always find a way to re invent what is a veritable classic, in fact in could be argued that most chin to shoulder length styles are a variation of some sort on a bob hair cut. Colour can help this style hugely - if you fancy a choppy bob highlights will enhance the texture of the cut, where as a more classic style can take an all over  colour. Think Kelly Osbourne in her black bob days. Remember your bob cut hair style will benefit from regular trips to the salon and make sure you use a good quality shampoo and conditioner at home in between visits. Also invest in good styling products to help keep your Bob hair style in tip top condition.

Build Me A Website

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

Introduction
When I decided I needed a website for my business I had no idea of the very many processes involved. Like most people, I thought web design meant deciding on the graphics and the look of the pages and then by some magic it would all happen.

I have a friend who is in the business of web design and website development so I approached him for a quote. As a complete novice who is computer literate up to a point, I was amazed at the depth of initial questioning required to find out exactly what my requirements were.

I had no idea about the various aspects and the structure of the site and I found it mind blowing when I learned about the amount of work involved. So I thought other people would be interested to know more about this complicated process and I have asked my friend to supply the technical information for this article.

Stages in the Process

Target Audience
Before building a website there are important questions to consider. I was asked who would be my target audience. Who are my customers likely to be? Would they be children, businesses, home owners, sales people, parents or teenagers and so on?

The objective of the website
Then I was asked, what was the purpose of my website?
Did I want to sell services on line or use it to market my business and get more leads for possible customers? Maybe I would want to use it as an online brochure to showcase products. Another possibility was to use the website to foster a community so that I was in contact with other like-minded people, with chat rooms, online discussion and being supported by advertising on the site.

I hadn’t quite realised the scope of a website but as I was asked these questions it became clear that a lot of careful thought went into the preparation before building a website.

How to be Found on the Web
One of the first questions I was asked was, ‘Do you want it to be found by Google the main search engine?’ If I did then there was a whole process of establishing Keywords. So finding the best keywords are vital if you want to be found in Google. Generally most users only look at the top ten results so you will also want to promote your website to get on this page for your chosen keywords. By using a keyword research tool you can find the single most popular keyword for your industry.

Your Domain Name
Choosing a domain name is often quite a challenge because every name you initially come up with will almost certainly have been taken. Domain names ending in .com are by far the most popular and internationally recognised; the snag is that it’s very popularity means that the majority of the shorter names have already been registered.
So looking at names with endings such as .net; .co.uk or .info may be able to provide you with the domain name you want. When choosing your domain name it is very important to include one or more of your keywords if possible as this can apparently help with search engine rankings. So although the name of your business is the obvious choice for a domain name, it is not necessarily the only option.

Creating a Site Map
The importance of creating a site map is to get it clear in your mind of all the pages you will have on your website so you can prepare the content for each page and begin to design the flow through the website, such as when a user adds a product to their basket, then enters their delivery and billing address and makes the credit card payment in the correct order.

The aim is to make the site as user friendly as possible so that there are no barriers to getting into the website. For that reason often user name and passwordz are set for the customer so that they are not put off making a purchase by having to register.

For a non e-commerce site things are simpler with a contact form which allows you to receive enquiries by email without publishing your email address on the website, thus avoiding spam.Web forms can also validate the information before you receive it, so ensuring that the phone number provided does not contain words, and that the email address is in the correct format, for example. These things may sound very technical to us lay-folk but I assure you everything has to be decided in advance before starting on the construction of the site.

Copy
The next stage is preparing the copy. This is not the design of your website – just the words and visuals you want to have one each of the pages.

Having gathered all the above information you will need to decide what imagery you want to use within the website content. As we all know, a picture speaks a thousand words and remains in people’s memory far longer than just words.

For each image you could also have a caption, as the caption of an image is the next ‘most read’ words on the page after the page title. Images and their captions need to be clickable. When you click on a picture it should take you to the next stage of the process such as the sale page or placing an enquiry if your website is for lead generation.

Navigation
Another important consideration when building a website is how you want your navigation to work. You can have links within the content of your website, in the text, so there are not just links from the menu. You will need to decide whether the links will open into a new window, retaining your original page open. Next time you go online, you will realise how much thought has gone into the way in which a website works.

Website Design
Finally we come to the design of your website. I asked my friend in Nottingham web design to comment about this and he says it is one of the most difficult stages of the process because it’s subjective. What one person might like, another person might not like. If you are setting up a website for yourself alone then you will probably have some idea of what you want to see on the site. But if, as so often happens, the website is for a large corporation there will be inputs from many people or departments and you can be sure that they will never all agree!

There are a number of ways to approach website design but ultimately you need to create a design brief for the designer(s) to work from. Look at other websites and your competitor’s websites to find out what you like or dislike. The design brief should give reference to the logo, any existing brand guidelines or schemes and fonts and colour schemes, and should also detail which pages of the website that the designer is being tasked with creating visuals for.

The very best results will be achieved by using a graphic designer, and beware – not all graphic designers are the same. A graphic designer who designs specifically for print is working in a different discipline than a graphic designer who designs for screen and specifically the web. So choose your designer carefully, look at other work that person has done and determine whether or not you like their style.

If you are working in the big time and budget allows, use multiple graphic designers who have all been given the same design brief and request three concept designs from each designer. If the client themselves also do a graphic design, even if it’s a back of the envelope scribble, you will then have 10 concept designs. The next step is to get them all together and select the preferred elements from each design. Then give the work to the preferred graphic designer to work up as the final artwork.

The artwork should be finalised and agreed on by everybody before development of the site begins.

Production
Finally the preparation has been done and the site is ready to be built. Now for the more technical stuff! You will need to have decided which programming language to use to build the website. There are two main types for developing a website, one is Unix based, and the other is Windows based. Each one has pros and cons. If you are starting from scratch then it probably won’t matter, so you can go with the preference of your professional doing the work. My website is built on the Unix platform (apparently!) which is the same as many of the more well known websites such as Ebay, Facebook, Google and Amazon. Also your website hosting must be compatible with the development language with which your website is built.

Accessibility and Compliance
The website has to meet the current standards for website coding and doing so insures that disabled users, such as the visually impaired, can still access the entire website if they are using a Braille web browser.

Website Development
The best way to develop a website is on the web Server where the site is going to live. This way, those involved in reviewing the work can see work in progress and provide feedback throughout the development.

Unforeseen items
There are always some things that arise in any project which you suddenly realise you have forgotten, so no matter how well the web designer prepares and asks the right questions, there will always be a last minute change or addition. The main aim is to minimise the number of glitches that might arise because they aren’t calculated in and they could cause extra costs and delays on the date of the web site going live.

Going live
The moment of excitement comes when your site finally is published to the internet and you see the results of all the thought that has gone into the whole process. I was over the moon to see my paper flags website go live. As soon as the site has gone live there is no substitute for real world testing though, so ask as many of your friends and colleagues to view the website from their own offices and give feedback..

Reporting and Monitoring
Once your website is up and running, you might like to know how many people visit your website and from that number how many actually buy the products or place an enquiry. From these statistics you can work out the ratio of hits to sales and gradually make changes to improve the ratios. There are some reliable statistics packages such as Google Analytics or Web-Stat.com which allow you to collect and review website visitor data in near real time. All you need to do this is to have a small block of code inserted into each web page on your site.

Another useful service that Web-stat.com provides is to monitor the website and warn you by email or text message if the site is offline.

Marketing
Once the website is live there are lots of things you can do to market your product or service. The first step is to submit it to the search engines and at the same time write articles, and press releases. Getting links to the site from forums, blogs and other social networking spaces are other options. For more on this subject ask your developer about SEO

Conclusion
Wheww. What an amazing amount of work! I hadn’t realised when I started the process of getting a website up and running, how complicated it all is and how many factors you have to consider before even designing the website. The word web design is really a misnomer, as people often think it’s just about the graphic design on the home page, and the branding of the product. Unless you are a computer buff, most people have no idea how much goes into designing and building a website and the systems that support the work you want it to do. I hope that this article will give readers an understanding and insight into the whole process of website development from start to finish.

Wisconsin Court Records

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

If you’re tired of spending many hours visiting several public offices and still not get the Wisconsin public record you need, believe us when we say that you can get it easier if you would just stay at home and use your computer.

By using our site, you can search for the Wisconsin court records you need and obtain them in just a few clicks of the mouse! With more than 2 billion US public records available at our comprehensive database, Wisconsin public records can be searched easier than you usually did.

So if you want to obtain copies of your own or someone else’s Wisconsin public record – from birth and death records, to marriage and divorce records, to other Wisconsin public records like address records, property records, bankruptcy records, criminal records, sex offender records, etc – access it faster through our service.

Court records pertain to all the files and documentation kept by a court before, during and after legal proceedings. It is usually the task of the court reporter to keep a faithful record of what transpires during a session in court and it is from this transcript that court records come about. Along with the transcript, other documentation is also included in court documents such as legal forms, evidence, and other related files.

Unquestionably, the best and easiest way to obtain copies of public records is to use a pc and go online. In today’s modern world, the internet technology has made it possible for any person to simply search online databases and gain automatic access to different types of public records without having to visit government agencies and other public offices or to hire private detectives.
