Local Geordie Accountants

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

What a time I’ve had lately it all started out with a problem with my tap leaking well anyhow I tried to get a localised plumber in the local telephone directory – who would appear within a week no chance there Anyway I decided to do a search on google for Newcastle Plumbers. Hit gold with that one there they where on-line .Anyways I filled in the contact form and within about 15 minutes I had a telephone call to fix up an appointment .That’s what I call service. To cut a long story short they came out the very day and where rather a bit cheaper than the firm who would not get to me for almost a week.

Not long after the original problem was resolved don’t I get a phone call from a acquaintance alleging somebody has crashed into his motorcar from behind and are denying any responsibleness. Not truly sure how that goes as they clearly rammed into his car. Well hot on my success with google and the phantom plumbers don’t I get online and go looking for a Solicitor in Newcastle  for him. Just on the off chance that his insurance policy has some small little clause about legal costs who knows?

On a lighter note someone I know has determined to expend some of their redundancy on purchasing a car cleaning business concern. Not quite positive if they have done as much research as they should ahead of going all out for it .I have assured them that they need a Accountant in Newcastle to look at the books of account as these people recognize incisively what they are looking at. For the fee it may well spare him thousands if the business concern is going to fold or hopefully the accountant will turn around and say that it seems like a lucrative business go for it.

So all in all the last few weeks have been quite heavy around here. Looking ahead to a few smooth weeks now with no more leakages or phone calls about car accidents.

Should I bother to use a reverse cell phone service on a nuisance phone call?

Monday, September 7th, 2009

A difficult question and one that you really have to answer on your own, but how badly do you need to know who is trying to harass you?

If you have been receiving nuisance phone calls then you can just report them to the police and they will take it from there. If you trust them to pursue it then that should be the matter finished. Of course if you really want to make sure the appropriate action is taken then you need to get in contact with their service provider. The service provider will be interested that one of their customers is behaving like that and it could lead to the individual making the calls being disconnected.

You will really struggle to phone their service provider though without the use of a reverse phone number service as without them there is no way of knowing who they are with (unless you phone their voicemail and they haven’t changed their message then sometimes you can tell from that). So the best option is really to use one of these sites and dig up the service provider and the name and address of the person.

The police will be able to do a lot more if they already have the name and address as you have provided it, of course you should still go to the phone company too.

Then they can’t escape getting into trouble. Of course they could carry on anyway - but if you know the name of the person you at least have the upperhand and if you let them know you are aware it is them then you are no longer being a faceless victim and most people are cowards and will just stop straight away.

Low cost domain names and all the information you need to know

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

Websites today are filling cross-functional roles. Not just for marketing anymore, a quality website design can be that final piece of the puzzle needed to bring your business or organization together. Website costs can average $100 per page if we use Basic Templates and insert your photos, text and other info. This includes re-work of the source code for meta-tags and keywords to fit your needs and a copyright notice.

Prices for low cost domain names primarily depend on the greed of the registering company. Many registering companies make use of their clients  ignorance of the real domain name prices. Price can be an important factor when selecting a registrar for your cheap domains, but customer support also counts.

Choosing a low cost domain name is a key decision in planning a new website. Many online services can help you select a good and cheap domain name for your site. Cheap domains do not usually have to be registered with your web hosting company; and in some situations, using two companies can offer advantages. Using a domain name registrar to host your cheap domain, and a web hosting company to host the actual site content can prove to be a good decision – with each separate company holding knowledge around their area of expertise.

Remember, when some hosting company offers you a affordable domain name free for the first year, this means they will renew at their regular rate next year, the renewal fee can vary from host to host.

Fees and services vary from company to company, but the process is generally inexpensive. Emerald Web Hosting is just one company that offers low cost domain registration and can be managed by internet connection or a simply phone call. Fees and services vary from company to company, but the process is generally inexpensive. Before a domain registration can be approved, the new name must be checked against existing names in the DNS database.

Take a Break

Friday, July 10th, 2009

What a time I’ve had recently it all started out with a problem with my bath leaking well anyhow I tried to find a localised plumber in the localised phone directory – who would turn up within a week no chance there Anyhow I made up one’s mind to do a search on google for Plumbers in Leeds. Struck gold with that one there they where on-line .Anyhow I filled in the contact form and within about 20 minutes I got a telephone call to set up an appointment .That’s what I call service. To cut a long story short they arrived the said day and where rather a bit cheaper than the company who could not get to me for well-nigh a week.

Shortly after the first problem was resolved don’t I get a phone call from a acquaintance saying somebody has crashed into his motorcar from behind and are abnegating any responsibility. Not really certain how that goes as they clearly drove into his car. Well hot on my success with google and the phantom plumbers don’t I get online and go looking for a Solicitors in Leeds for him. Simply on the off chance that his insurance policy has some tiny little clause about legal costs who knows?

On a happier note an individual I know has determined to expend some of their redundancy on buying a window cleaning business. Not quite certain if they have done as much research as they should before going for it .I have assured them that they want a Leeds Accountant to look at the books of account as these individuals recognize incisively what they are looking at. For the price it may well spare him thousands if the concern is going to fold or with a bit of luck the accountant will turn around and say that it seems like a profitable business go for it.

So all in all the last few weeks have been quite eventful around here. Looking forward to a few settled weeks now with no more leakages or phone calls about car accidents.

Some Money Saving Tips For Homeowners Insurance

Saturday, January 3rd, 2009

If you own a home or plan on buying one soon, homeowners insurance is something you either already have or will be shopping for a very soon. For most homeowners a basic homeowners insurance policy is all you need. A basic policy will cover most potential perils but if you are concerned about certain things like floods or earthquakes additional insurance or riders may be required.

Whether you already have a homeowners insurance policy or you plan on shopping for one soon, you may be interested in some ways you can save money on homeowners insurance. If your search for low cost homeowners insurance is just beginning you will first need to determine how much coverage you need. The amount of coverage you need should be based on what it would cost to rebuild your home and replace your possessions if you were to lose everything due to some type of catastrophe.

Once you know how much coverage you need there are a number of ways to save money and make sure you’re getting the best deal. One easy way to save money is to bundle different types of insurance together with one company. For instance, if you were to have your homeowners insurance, car insurance and health insurance all provided by the same company, you would likely be eligible for discounts on all of those policies. Another good way to get discounts on insurance is to simply ask for them. A quick phone call to your insurance agent may be all it takes to get some discounts on your coverage.

Another money-saving tip would be to raise your deductibles. The deductible is the amount you would be required to pay before your insurance policy starts to pay for a claim. For example, if your deductible is $500 and your backyard fence were to blow down in a storm, the damage may be $1500. In this case, you would pay $500 and your insurance company would pay the remaining $1000 to repair the fence. If you were to raise your deductibles your insurance company may not pay for minor damages like a backyard fence but your monthly premium payments would be substantially less and in the result of a major loss, like a house fire, your insurance company would certainly picked up a huge percentage of the cost to rebuild. Simply raising your deductible from $500 to $1500 will save you several hundred dollars per year in premium payments.

One of the fastest and easiest ways to save money on any type of insurance is to do some comparison shopping. You can spend a few minutes online getting instant quotes from a number of different providers and then it’s simply a matter of comparing how much coverage you get versus how much it will cost you. If you minutes spent comparison-shopping can save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars.
